While our testers tackle the hard problems, the AI explores the application, mapping endpoints and flagging points of interest in real time: candidate vulnerabilities, odd behavior and possible attack chains. The tester checks each one by hand, links the real ones into multi-step attack paths and proves them with a working exploit wherever they are exploitable.
Bringing AI into the process means we can cover more ground and move faster through the repetitive checks, leaving our testers more time for the hard, high-impact problems. And because a person reviews and confirms everything before it reaches you, the report contains real, prioritized findings, with the noise and false positives stripped out.
Every engagement ends with a report written and signed off by our testers: an executive summary, verified findings with the evidence to reproduce them (a working proof of concept wherever the issue is exploitable), CVSS scoring and concrete remediation guidance. This matters for compliance, too: a fully automated report is hard to defend in an audit.
The AI layer is not a chatbot: it is a platform we built in-house specifically for security testing. Before we start, you decide which data it may use and whether any of it may leave our infrastructure. We work under an NDA and a data processing agreement, and schedule testing windows around your environment.
The AI layer is an extra you can choose, never a cheaper or watered-down kind of test. Your assessment is always a full manual penetration test carried out by our experts; AI comes in when it helps your project and timeline, for example with one large application or several to test at once. And if you'd rather keep it fully manual, that's fine too.

What clients usually ask us about using AI in a penetration test.
Only if you allow it. We don't use public chatbots: the AI layer runs on our own platform, configured for each engagement. With your consent, the platform uses frontier models from the leading AI providers, only on the data agreed before the test and under terms that rule out using your data to train their models. Otherwise, the work is carried out without any of your data leaving our infrastructure.
No. Every engagement is a full manual penetration test run by our testers, following recognized methodologies such as the OWASP testing guides. The AI works in parallel, mapping endpoints and flagging candidate issues, and the testers decide what to pursue, chain together and prove.
Nothing reaches the report until a tester has confirmed it. Each finding comes with the evidence to reproduce it (a working proof of concept wherever it is exploitable), a CVSS score and remediation guidance; raw tool output stays out.
It is an add-on to the manual test, so it does not reduce the manual work you pay for. It pays off on large scopes, where it keeps coverage high without stretching the timeline. We include it in the quote after the scoping call, so you can decide with the numbers in front of you.
In our experience, yes, because the test is led by people. PCI DSS, for example, requires penetration tests to be performed by a qualified internal resource or a qualified external third party, with organizational independence of the tester (requirements 11.4.2 and 11.4.3). ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 do not prescribe how a penetration test must be run, but as audit evidence, testing performed and signed off by qualified people is easier to defend than raw tool output. Our report is written and signed off by the testers who did the work.
